Gårdsfisk was born from a simple idea – land based fish farming that makes it possible to eat fish without destroying the environment. Their vision is no longer to produce the world's most sustainable fish - because they already do that. Now they play an important role in sustainable and responsible food consumption, by gaining market shares from less sustainable alternatives.
For consumers, these are unknown fish species and relatively expensive products. If the shopper doesn't understand the products' benefits, how they taste and are prepared the probability is high that they will give up the purchase.
We wanted to make a brand that looked premium, modern and tasty and in the same way communicate the core values of Gårdsfisk. By working with vibrant colors and natural materials, we created a crafty look that communicates both Gårdsfisk's sustainable approach and their vision to change the food industry.
We wanted the packaging to have a sense of craftsmanship with heritage from agriculture.
